I never know what to Put Here…

Jedi, sorceror, dragonrider… adopted by Jay-Z and Beyonce.

These are just some of the things I wanted to be as a kid, but none as much as being a writer.

For me, writing was the ultimate kind of magic—to create something from nothing, and to have the people around you fall in love with it.

I dreamed of creating an entire universe so alive and vibrant that my fans couldn’t help but want to be a part of it. A fantastic new world where they could finally be the new mutant at a boarding school ran by a bald telepath, the modern demigod learning how to fight mythical monsters from an ancient centaur, or even just the normal person who realizes that they can see the strange things that exist all around us.

I used to think that the only way to exercise that desire was to be a starving artist. To go on filling notebooks with sleepy eyed, frantic writing as I scratched out the imaginings that I came up with on any given day. However, after spending some time sailing the world with the Navy, a few sleepless nights and groggy mornings at college, and some very profound talks over coffee with people much smarter than me—I discovered that there was a way that I could utilize my skills to make a decent living.

I discovered the world of advertising where I could make a different kind of magic—magic that one day might include you and your company.
